eClips - Service Description What are eClips? The term 'eClip' is short for electronic Press Clipping. These Press clippings are in PDF format and may be viewed online via web-links. You need to have a digital license to view eClips which we can arrange on your behalf with the licensing agency. An eClips service allows you to have full viewing access to the National Press, as well as Regional and Trade papers. We offer three mechanisms for accessing clippings: Send Clippings: We send you a collection of web links to individual clips or a link to a clippings package via email. Once you click on the link, you are able to view the digital press content. We can also fax you material that doesn't have a digital license. Portal: The entire Press Media that we monitor is searched for specific search-terms (that you set up with us). Each day the relevant summarised articles are sent to you in an email. The links to the Press clippings are hosted on our Portal service, so any links you want to view can be ordered and viewed from the Portal. Extranet: With the Extranet service, the same Press Media content is searched as the Portal service. However, this option gives a tailored view of summaries relevant to your company. These summaries are emailed and available on a customised web-site. The web-site can contain your company graphics and logos. The content is organised into groupings that you select. The clippings are made available as digital web-links (PDF files) on the Extranet site. Are you considering signing up for a service?
